About Me
After nearly a decade of working in "the enterprise", I found new joy and freedom in agile web development with Ruby on Rails. During my 11+ years in software I have worked on diverse projects for companies throughout the U.S. and Canada. I have designed and developed elegant solutions for the web, desktop and mobile devices in such industries as VoIP, E-Commerce, Social Networking, National Deployment & Project Management, Facilities Management & Asset Tracking, Sales & CRM Systems, and Enterprise Security.
I have often been afforded the opportunity to lead development teams in the creation and expansion of software applications. I enjoy the rewards of mentoring others and I excel in the creative aspects of application architecture and design. My communication and interpersonal skills allow me to productively lead technically minded individuals while interacting effectively with customers, managers and business executives.
In my personal life, I am a husband to the most amazing woman, and the father of 4 incredible children who give my life real meaning. I am a drummer, musician and songwriter. I love the creative expression of myself through music and through software, and I'm blessed to have the opportunity to do both.
